GDSF

GDSF – Gibraltar Dance Sport Federtation represents first and only group of athletes in DanceSport discipline in Gibraltar. Our members include both children and adult athletes, judges and trainers taking part in international sport of dance competitions.

The only official world governing body representative of Dance Sport and Wheelchair Dance Sport in the world is World Dance Sport Federation (WDSF).
The Sport Federation which unites national sports federations operating in the Dance Sport discipline and GDSF cooperates with.

Dance Sport is a discipline recognised as a sport by International Olympic Committee (IOC), International Paralympic Committee (IPC), SPORT ACORD, World Games Association (IWGA) and International Masters Games Association (IMGA).

International Ballroom (English Waltz, International Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep)

International Latin (International Samba, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Pasodoble and Jive)

GDSF – are dancing facilities which have been present in the sport, cultural, artistic and recreational life of Gibraltar for a long time. They conduct dance courses, lessons, training sessions, workshops and other classes for beginners and advanced dancers, club groups, hobby and tournament professional dancers, Pro-Am dance system and dancing groups. Throughout the whole year, they enable people to develop their interests, passions and talents, and provide good fun for adults, teenagers and kids who can train under supervision of professional instructors and teachers. Our facilities offer a nice, sociable atmosphere where you can make a lot of friends or even fall in love. Thanks to that, all the participants are successful on the dance floor and not only there.

The atmosphere is created by people who love DanceSport and other forms of physical activity and they know how to benefit from tchem.

Gibraltar Dance Sport Federation GDSF organize many shows, different rank tournaments and other special events where you can admire dancers who present their wide dance skills on many levels of advancement.
